It's incredible the impact our CEO is helping to achieve in the startup ecosystem. We're fortunate to have such dedication to innovation in the state and the support of the community.
I am deeply humbled and honored to have had the opportunity to introduce Governor Gretchen Whitmer as she signed into law new bills that will shape the future of innovation and entrepreneurship in Michigan. Yesterday’s event at the Newlab facility was a surreal moment, not only as a Michigan business founder but also as an underrepresented founder who understands how critical these initiatives are to the future of our startup community. A heartfelt thank you to Gretchen Whitmer and Garlin Gilchrist II for your unwavering dedication to Michigan’s startups and your clear commitment to creating an environment where innovation can thrive. The new R&D tax credits and the $60M Innovation Fund will have a profound impact on the businesses of tomorrow, enabling us to build cutting-edge technologies and attract top talent right here in Michigan. For me, and for CircNova, this is a huge step forward. It reinforces the message that Michigan is open for bold ideas, new technologies, and diverse perspectives. This legislation will not only support early-stage founders like myself but will also ensure we have the resources and infrastructure to stay and grow in Michigan — our home state. As we look to the future, I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I’m incredibly grateful for the leadership that’s guiding our ecosystem to new heights. Thank you again to the Governor, Lt. Governor, and everyone who is working tirelessly to make Michigan a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship! The journey is just beginning. #MichiganInnovation #Startups #Entrepreneurship #R&D #InnovationFund
