Since the beginning of 2025, I’ve set a goal to expand my learning and continue growing both personally and professionally. I’m excited to share that I’ve completed the Circle Foundation Certificate,?which has provided me with some great tools and insights to help me grow in the community management field. Communities are changing in a big way. Let me give you one of my biggest predictions... As more and more online communities pop up, people will: 1.) Become more hesitant to join new communities and 2.) Scale their involvement back to 1-2 favorites So, if you're a community builder or thinking about becoming one... You need to ask yourself how YOUR community will be someone's favorite community to spend time in. It's no secret that I'm a major advocate for Circle –?I run my membership (The Lab) on Circle and recommend it highly. They compiled a great report interviewing 1,200+ community builders, including Dave Gerhardt, Jordan Godbey ??, Bonnie Christine, Justin Welsh, and Ali Abdaal. As I read the report, I found myself doing a lot of nodding – not because the takeaways were obvious, but because I'm DEEP into this space and agree with a lot of the data.
