关于我们
At Circle Optics we make the World's only 360-video systems capable of real-time spherical imaging that is stitch-less, parallax-free, and doesn't require a gimbal to operate on aerial platforms. Our camera systems use polygonal lenses instead of circular lenses to solve the parallax problem in analog, which allows for real-time use-cases for spherical imaging systems for the first time. In our system, stitching is done at the level of the lenses, not at the electronic. Therefore instead of using AI resources to try and fix stitching errors and still getting an imperfect image, our system produces a perfect image in real-time, and allows us to apply AI resources on the EDGE such as image recognition. We are collaborating with NASA, NSF, United States Air Force and others to deploy our camera systems across a broad spectrum of mission-critical use-cases. In the end our dream is to enable the technologies that allow a child growing up in Brooklyn, NY to roam the streets of Venice, Italy at night with her friends in real-time. Our 360 camera is the first in the world to solve the issue of parallax: a defect which causes image misalignments in stitched panoramas. This is currently the bottleneck standing between where we are now and a world mapped virtually in 360. Our team is comprised of world-class optics engineers with over 100 patents to their name. We are building a strong moat around our IP, with multiple patents already awarded. Circle Optics, Inc. is a Delaware Benefit Corporation founded in 2017, and headquartered in Rochester, NY. The company was founded with the original goal of building a physics-first solution to the problem of parallax for the 360 video industry, thus making 360 video streaming possible and useful.
