Danielle, our Director of Branch Operations, is encouraging women of all ages to embrace their inner strengths and individuality throughout their journey. "As women, we’re taught to focus on others and sacrifice ourselves. We often measure growth by someone else’s opinion or measuring stick… But YOU decide what growth looks like. YOU decide the end goal. "When you search for the definition of ‘growth,’ it’s described as 'an irreversible contact increase in size.' When I think back about my growth within my family and career, I reflect on what growth means as a woman. "I encourage all the women at Cinfed and worldwide to be intentional with wherever your focus might be. Foster those connections with other women to provide support, navigate challenges, and celebrate achievements whether it be with work, motherhood, or your goals."

Our Mortgage Lending team recently visited Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati, providing fresh meals to families during their child's healthcare journey. This not only provides relief to those families facing difficult times but creates a sense of a community around them knowing they are not alone. Ronald McDonald House helps more than one million families around the world each year, and we're proud to be a part of their mission and impact on Greater Cincinnati!

Dee, the assistant branch manager of Cinfed's Colerain location, is a strong advocate for unity among women and embracing the beauty in diversity. "I've experienced so many great conversations and connections with women here at Cinfed. When we unite, it can be a powerful thing. One of the most impactful forms of unity is sisterhood. And it's not just for the cause, it's about love and embracing one another's struggles and successes. It's an opportunity to offer encouragement and celebrate triumphs together. As a woman, unity isn't always perfect or easy, it's an ongoing process of coming together to make the world a better place for all."

The rain didn't stop Cinfed from shining bright at this year's Heart Mini Marathon & Walk?? Thank you to all of our walkers, runners and donors for making this year's 5K our biggest showing yet! Cinfed accounted for more than 90 participants, helping raise over $9,000 for the American Heart Association. Our team is proud to give back to Greater Cincinnati and its communities each year!

Laura, leader of our Member Development Team, is dedicated to inspiring and recognizing the unique qualities of those around her, especially her two daughters. "As I reflect on Women's History Month, I think of the women around me that inspire me each day. A simple “Wow, I didn’t think of that” or “Great job, keep going!” can ignite a spark in someone. And while many of these interactions may seem small, they are powerful nonetheless. Studies show that confidence is a key predictor of success but is hard to come by. Confidence in young women can decrease dramatically between ages 8-14, and 2 out of 3 women do not speak their minds because they are uncomfortable with being seen as 'difficult.' I cannot be the only example for my daughters to follow and I choose to believe that by building up others daily, I am creating a better world for them. It sounds cliché, but kindness is free and abundant within all of us and used without restraint will lead to a better world. Not only for women but for us all!" #womenshistorymonth

Our senior staff & CEO Jay Sigler ended Employee Appreciation Week by dropping off goodies for all our hard-working branch teams! Thanks to these teams for being on the front lines of Cinfed's mission: to help our members reach their financial goals.

Empowering Women in Leadership?? In honor of Women's History Month, Cinfed is proud to highlight some of the amazing women who are representing Cinfed behind the scenes and inside our Greater Cincinnati branches. Valicia, leader of Card Services, was raised by a single mother who instilled the belief in her that she could break the cycle of generational challenges women face in the workforce. "When I reflect on the concept of honor and being a woman, the first person who comes to mind is my mother. She raised my siblings and I as a single parent, ensuring we received a great education. As a woman of color, I recognize the difficulties that come with it. I take pride and honor in my role as a manager at Cinfed, embracing both my identity as a woman and my professional achievements. I will always hold deep gratitude for my mother and honor her true essence. Women are real superheroes."
