Cinemark reported its 3Q24 earnings this morning, sharing yet another quarter of box office results that significantly surpassed expectations and reinforced the health and vitality of the exhibition industry. The company exceeded year-over-year North American industry box office growth, set a new all-time-high concession per cap record and achieved its highest third-quarter revenue and Adjusted EBITDA of all time! These outstanding results underscore the lasting impact that a theatrical release generates, and Cinemark certainly understands how meaningful experiencing stories in a theatrical setting is to the hundreds of millions of moviegoers visiting theaters every year. Congratulations to the entire Cinemark team for driving the quarter’s tremendous box office and congratulations to our studio partners for their outstanding work producing and releasing such compelling content. Last week, our corporate office was transformed into a Halloween wonderland for our annual Employee Costume Contest and Trunk or Treat event! From creative costumes to decked-out trunks, our team went all out to celebrate the spooky season. ? Special shoutout to our?Executive Leadership Team for their amazing group costume as Inside Out 2! However, not to be out done, our IT team won Best Group Costume AND Most Creative Trunk for their "Horror Museum" theme. Lastly our Marketing Team took home the prize for Best Overall Trunk with their interpretation of the beloved Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob SquarePants! Last week, we hosted our 33rd Annual Cinemark Charity Classic auction and golf tournament, a beloved tradition during which we raise funds for four incredibly deserving organizations that align with our company’s philanthropic pillars: Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, Variety - the Children's Charity of Texas, North Texas Food Bank, and the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. We were once again blown away by the support and generosity of our vendor partners who helped us raise record funds, as well as our employee volunteers who brought this event to life by exemplifying our company value of Passion for People. This year’s theme was ‘Out of This World,’ and it was truly stellar to experience the camaraderie and celebration from all as we supported worthy causes in our community.
