Yesterday, the Women's Fund joined advocates from across the state at Economic Mobility Alliance Ohio's Advocacy Day, meeting with legislators to champion policies that help working families thrive. We had powerful conversations about solutions to the benefits cliff, including a refundable Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), expanded child care access, and the Benefits Bridge Program. A huge thank you to EMAO and our incredible coalition partners - Advocates for Ohio's Future, The Center for Community Solutions, Ohio Workforce Coalition, Ohio Urban Community Action Network, Greater Sandusky Partnership, United Way of Greater Cleveland and Greater Cleveland Works - for leading the charge on these critical issues. When we come together to advocate for bold, practical policies, we create real opportunities for economic mobility. Grateful for the chance to elevate this work and keep pushing for change!
