Our partners in Sheffield always strive to be the best in every aspect of the surgical blade business. Taking steps to make the surgical blade manufacturing process more environmentally friendly is no exception. When we entered into our co-manufacturing agreement with Swann Morton in 2015, we aligned ourselves with the global leader to raise the standard for surgical blades worldwide. During that time we've worked to bring you the best quality products available while lessening our impact on the environment. As the only blade manufacturer to have both ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications, we commit to continually improving our energy efficiency. We have reduced our packaging size to minimize waste, but not compromise on safety and ease of opening. Over the past three years, Swann Morton has also prioritized the use of recycled raw material resulting in an impressive 37% of all steel used in the production of our blades and scalpels being sourced from recycled content This collaborative effort sets a?new standard for environmental stewardship, showcasing how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand in the world of surgical manufacturing. https://lnkd.in/gH4kpH8s
