The Criminal Investigations and Network Analysis Center (CINA), is a multidisciplinary academic consortium led by George Mason University that pursues innovative strategies and solutions to advance criminal network analysis, forensics, and investigative processes. CINA researchers are developing tools and technologies, as well as innovative educational and training solutions to advance our nation’s abilities to counter transnational criminal activities. CINA is a DHS Center of Excellence, and is sponsored by the Science and Technology Directorate’s Office of University Programs.

?? REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: Threats to Cyber Infrastructure ?? Today, NCITE is launching an RFP seeking research projects that examine the terrorist threat to cyber critical infrastructure. The Center is looking to award 1-2 new projects for a period of performance beginning Jan. 1, 2025. ?? The deadline to submit is Sept. 19. Proposals should address questions like: ? How can violent extremist threat actors exploit cyber and closely related domains against any of the 16 #criticalinfrastructure sectors to further their organizational goals? ? Which critical infrastructure sectors would be most enticing to different violent extremist threat actors and why? ? What knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics might violent extremists need to attack via #cyber pathways? ?
