CMCT recently announced the completed conversion of two top floors at office building 4750 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles into 68 apartment residences, now known as 701 S. Hudson. The community is atop 30,000 square feet of ground-floor creative office space, creating a stacked mixed-use office and residential environment. The apartments at 701 S. Hudson are configured as studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans with an array of on-site amenities including a resort-style pool, fitness and yoga rooms, and a children's playroom. CMCT’s conversion of 4750 Wilshire aligns with its strategy to invest in premier apartments and creative office space in high-barrier-to-entry markets. We're thrilled to announce that we've completed the largest office lease transaction to date in downtown Los Angeles in 2024. SoCalGas has signed a long-term lease for approximately 198,553 square feet at City National 2CAL, a 52-story office building in the Bunker Hill District. “SoCalGas had many options for its headquarters location and CIM Group appreciates its selection of City National 2CAL," said Shaul Kuba, Co-Founder and Principal, CIM Group. The SoCalGas lease follows our December 2023 lease to international law firm Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP at the same building, which marked Downtown Los Angeles’ largest new office lease transaction in 2023.
