A new chapter begins for the former Hollywood Cemex Plant. The facility on La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood has ceased operations to make way for a new mixed-use development, 1000 La Brea. Redevelopment plans are in motion for a 34-story residential tower featuring 514 apartments, ground-floor retail space, and both subterranean and above-ground parking. Located near The Lot at Formosa and the revitalized Sycamore District, 1000 La Brea will connect a burgeoning entertainment district with elevated residential living.
