Tom and I are going to be at MILAM 2025 in Tampa this week (Booth #712). I didn’t initially include this in our marketing, but I’m proud that we’re able to bring this part off of our exclusive WAV (wave applied voxel) technology by Paxis. It will be in the booth, please ask all about it and our vision for this unique tech. Built in one piece, hollow (honeycombed) with an integrated, structural metal bracket and fiber optic light pipe. Once completed it was sanded and dusted in matte blue and a frosted SLA bolted on its end, to show off the light when passing thru. Due to the nature of the WAV process, its fully sealed (which means it will float) can also house electronics. Although we’re not officially selling parts off of it yet (soon), I wanted to show it here to spark some ideas or answer questions. What an amazing time participating in our 13th AMUG. I’m extremely proud of our talented team winning first place in the Advanced Finishing technical competition award. A big shout out to Paul Dewys and Shannon VanDeren for inviting me to participate on their panels! We also brought three very cool 3D-Printed Pinewood derby cars. 2 in SLA and 1 using our exclusive Paxis WAV technology. In hindsight these were designed for looks, not performance… so watch out next year, we’re going for both. On a side note: I may have overbought candy for our room this year ??(ridiculous… you can never have enough candy).
