关于我们
CiCLO? technology is a scientifically proven textile ingredient designed to mitigate synthetic microfiber pollution, the most prevalent form of microplastic pollution found in environments across the globe. When added to polyester or nylon, CiCLO? technology allows fibers that end up fugitive in the environment to behave like natural fibers such as wool. Conventional polyester and nylon are plastics that persist indefinitely, but microorganisms can completely break down CiCLO? polyester and nylon, leaving behind only basic natural elements. The chemistry used to make CiCLO? technology is OEKO-TEX? ECO PASSPORT certified, confirming it is safe for use in sustainable textiles. Fibers, yarns and fabrics made with CiCLO? technology are rigorously studied for biodegradation by multiple third-party labs using internationally recognized ASTM and ISO Test Methods to prove complete conversion of the material to biogas and biomass. CiCLO? polyester and nylon are available around the globe exclusively from CiCLO? Certified Manufacturers, making our solution accessible and affordable for brands everywhere. To maintain quality assurance and traceability, we only sell CiCLO? technology to our global network of CiCLO? Certified Manufacturers. Brands and retailers may purchase CiCLO? fiber and yarn directly from our network for endless applications, from apparel to rugs and more. CiCLO? technology is owned, manufactured and distributed by Intrinsic Advanced Materials, a joint venture between Intrinsic Textiles Group, a startup based in Silicon Valley, and Parkdale Advanced Materials, the innovative fiber and yarns division of global textiles giant, Parkdale Mills. Our mission is to make the greatest impact possible toward mitigating synthetic microfiber pollution. Microplastic fiber pollution is everywhere—from oceans to soil and even inside our bodies. One of the most common forms is synthetic microfibers shed from textiles, which are nearly impossible to clean up once in the environment. In an upcoming keynote with the London & South-east England section of The Textile Institute,?Andrea Ferris?will cover: - Statistics on microfiber pollution - Solutions like improved filtration and textile redesign - How synthetics can now be both durable and biodegradable We'd love to see you there! Attendees must book tickets in advance using this link:?https://lnkd.in/dEDVYp_j Prices: TI members £10 – Non-members £20 - Students £5? #thetextileinstitute #CiCLOtechnology #betterpolyester #microfiberpollution #syntheticmicrofibers?

Everything you need to know about the Fighting Fibers Act of 2024 ?? Microfibers that shed from synthetic textiles are one of the most prevalent forms of microplastic pollution found in the environment. Once there, they are nearly impossible to clean up. The Fighting Fibers Act is a huge step in addressing microfiber pollution before it reaches the environment. ??
