Why don’t construction workers tell secrets? Because they might “leak” information! Why did the crane operator get promoted? Because he really “elevated” his work! Why do construction workers make great friends? Because they always “support” you and never “bail” on you! The construction industry works hard—but today, let’s take a moment to lighten up with some corny construction jokes! Which joke made you laugh the most? Drop your own construction puns in the comments! ?? #ConstructionCares #MentalHealthMatters #CIASP #SafetyMatters #ZeroSuicide #DifferenceMaker #ConstructionCommunity #STOPSuicide

Recognizing the Warning Signs? Construction is a high-risk industry, not just physically but mentally. When mental health struggles go unnoticed, they can impact productivity, safety, and team dynamics—putting workers at risk. Look out for these warning signs among your team: ?? Decreased productivity ?? Increased conflict with co-workers ?? Near hits, incidents, or injuries ?? Difficulty solving problems ?? Increased tardiness and absenteeism If you notice these signs, don’t ignore them. Check in with your co-workers. Offer support. Encourage open conversations. A strong, healthy workforce starts with looking out for each other. ?? Your brain is just as important as your physical health—especially in the construction industry, where focus, decision-making, and reaction time are critical to safety. Brain Awareness Week (March 11-17) is a reminder to take care of your mental well-being as much as your physical safety. ?? Simple Ways to Support Your Brain Health: ? Prioritize Sleep – Fatigue impacts concentration and safety on the job. Aim for at least 7-9 hours per night. ? Stay Hydrated & Eat Well – Your brain needs fuel! Drink water and include brain-boosting foods like nuts, fish, and leafy greens. ? Take Breaks – Even a few minutes of stretching or fresh air can reduce stress and boost focus. ? Talk About Mental Health – Just like physical safety, checking in on your mental well-being should be part of the daily routine. ? Know the Signs – If you or a coworker are struggling, don’t wait—reach out for help. ?? A strong, healthy brain keeps you safe at work and beyond. Let’s keep the conversation going. What’s one thing you do to protect your mental well-being? Drop it in the comments below! ?? #BrainAwarenessWeek #MentalHealthMatters #CIASP #ConstructionCares #SafetyMatters #ZeroSuicide #DifferenceMaker #ZeroSuicideIndustry #ConstructionCommunity #STOPSuicide
