I Took Experiential Gifting to Kindergarten—Here’s What Happened This week, I had the absolute joy of visiting my son’s kindergarten class to share a peek into the wild world of experiential gifting. We talked custom patches, sneaker bars, and how a personalized “thing” can transform into a meaningful moment. I brought in a mini gifting experience—each child got to pick their own pins and decorate a pencil case to match their unique style. We even leaned into trading culture, letting them swap patches until they found the combo that matched their vibe. It was personalization in its purest form—and the kids were hooked. We laughed, we crafted, we dreamed big. What struck me most? This next generation already gets what many adults are still learning: ?? Engagement comes from connection and personalization ? Details matter ?? Creativity changes everything We often spotlight careers like doctor, lawyer, or policeman (and those are so important!)—but I got to introduce a path most of them didn’t even know existed. A career for the wildly creative. For the ones who love doing all the things—all at once—and doing them well. Not everyone’s path is linear. And for the ones who think in color, live in big ideas, and thrive in organized chaos—I hope this planted a seed. Proud to sprinkle a little inspiration and maybe, just maybe, ignite the future of tiny event planners. ?? Their future might not fit inside the lines—and that’s exactly the point.
