This synthesis of experience and accessibility enables us to deliver high-quality service and solutions at a fair price. Our home in Chicago is an advantage, too, and not just as a venue of Midwest values. Our competitively priced, high-quality legal services can also be found on the East Coast with our offices in New Jersey and New York.

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C.’s annual Tecsgiving — a big hit with employees! This week, Chuhak & Tecson held its third Thanksgiving-themed potluck event — Chuhak Tecsgiving. All members of the firm were invited to prepare their favorite dishes, which were displayed in our café for the entire firm to taste and enjoy. With a wide variety of delicious dishes to try, from turkey, mashed potatoes and sloppy joes to ravioli, cornbread and bruschetta, there was something for everyone. The potluck also included corn beef sandwiches and pierogis to add to the diverse range of items, which also reflected our variety of heritages. If it was even possible, the desserts, however, were the most impressive. With apple pie, banana pudding, S’mores bars and pumpkin crunch cake, there was no shortage of sweet treats to indulge in. Thanks to the culinary excellence and gracious participation of all who made and brought these tasty dishes, the potluck was, of course, a great success! #HolidayPotluck #ChuhakTecsgiving #Diversity #ChuhakTecson #righttherewithyou

In 1996, the United Nations passed a resolution, which invited their member nations to recognize an International Day for Tolerance on November 16 of each year. As defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary, the word ‘tolerance’ has a few meanings, including “capacity to endure pain or hardship and sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own.” Note that tolerance does not mean like, agree with, accept or support. Chuhak & Tecson, P.C.’s D&I Council wishes to stress the importance of taking some time to educate ourselves by reading the views from the other side of an issue, having a respectful conversation with another, engaging in open dialogue or developing an understanding of the beliefs of others. This is a time to recognize and learn about each other and those with opposing viewpoints. As stated in the UNESCO Declaration of Principles of Tolerance, adopted in 1995: “On the International Day of Tolerance, let us recognize the mounting threat posed by those who strive to divide, and let us pledge to forge a path defined by dialogue, social cohesion and mutual understanding.” If you want to read more about this day, consider the Defining Tolerance materials from a 2015 presentation: https://lnkd.in/gUgG89GC

The Federal annual observance of Veterans Day started, as it does each year, with a wreath being laid at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at 11:00 a.m. today, Veteran’s Day. This is done in honor of the sacrifices made by American service members and will be followed by speeches from dignitaries, a parade of colors and more. There are similar events and ceremonies all over our country. Chuhak & Tecson, P.C. observes this day which gives each of us the opportunity to recognize and thank those whom we know have honorably served in the military, whether in wartime or peacetime, and have dedicated themselves to preserving our freedoms. Our firm has a history of team members steeped in such duty and service starting with?Naval veterans, Tom Chuhak and Joe Tecson, and extending to our current-day team members.
