Last Friday, our Development team had the privilege of joining fellow local nonprofits at the ACMS Award Reception Breakfast. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, strengthen community ties, and foster greater support for those in need!

We prioritize hosting monthly staff-focused events, and this Black History Month, we were thrilled to collaborate with a local Black-owned business! A huge thank you to our friends at Aunt Cheryl's for treating our team to delicious samplings of fried chicken, turkey salad sandwiches, southern greens, and sweet potato pies. The positive feedback from our staff was incredible! Supporting Black-owned businesses is a meaningful way to celebrate Black history and culture—not just in February but all year round. A sneak peek at all the friendly faces behind Community Bridge, our newest program dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey toward independent housing! Community Bridge provides crucial support for our neighbors as they transition into safe, affordable housing. Participants gain access to job training, transportation assistance, and community engagement activities, all designed to build confidence and create lasting success. We have already graduated three individuals from the program and we’re excited to continue celebrating many more in the future!
