Philadelphia Marathon Weekend Recap! ??♂? What a weekend! The 31st AACR Philadelphia Marathon brought 17,000 runners to the streets of this iconic city, showcasing the best of Philly and the global running community. With breathtaking views along the Ben Franklin Parkway and through historic neighborhoods, it’s no wonder this event has become a must-run marathon. At ChronoTrack, we’re thrilled to play a role in some of the biggest races in the world— The NYC + Paris Marathons for example (just to name a few ??), and now, this fantastic Philly tradition. The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon once again demonstrated its status as the world's premier annual marathon event. This year's race set records across the board, cementing its reputation as an unparalleled global celebration of running. 55,646 runners ultimately crossed the finish line - the most finishers ever for a single marathon. This diverse field included a remarkable 17,859 international participants hailing from 137 countries around the world. The marathon also saw its highest-ever numbers of women and non-binary finishers, with 24,731 women and 120 non-binary participants completing the iconic 26.2 mile course through New York City's five boroughs. The TCS New York City Marathon continues to inspire and bring together athletes of all backgrounds and abilities. We're incredibly proud to have been a part of this record-breaking event! Our latest product, CT Pickup is a hit! Just ask Hank Brown from We Run Events! "We Run Events has been using the CT Check-In system as a beta user since January.?We helped work out some of the kinks early on, and have continued to?use this system exclusively now for bib assignment and check-in. Our crew loves the new system?and would not go back to the old one now! It is very?intuitive and quick, especially when checking in families, teams, or large groups. For example, at one race we had a team of 23 people show up as soon as we opened up registration, and there was a line of people waiting to pick up their bibs.?We let one of our crew handle this team, and she checked in the entire team within a few minutes.?Normally this situation would have backed us up for a long time, but it was not an issue with the new CT check-in system."
