Transitioning Graphics Arts Companies to Manufacturing Companies.

关于我们

ChromaChecker Cloud is the first Color Conformance Platform that numerically quantifies a color “match” for pages with spot and process colors. Built on a print manufacturing framework (G7 and ISO) and utilizing E-Factor (Expectation Factor), ChromaChecker helps printers manufacture “sellable” color, in accordance with the buyer’s color “match” requirements and print provider’s goals . ChromaChecker is a non-proprietary solution that captures and assesses a print company’s greatest color asset, their measured data, while overseeing each and every variable in their print production environment. ChromaChecker is based on an open architecture, supporting the vast majority of hardware and software being used in the print industry today. The ultimate goal of ChromaChecker is to reduce time and material waste in production which, in turn, increases productivity and boosts bottom line profitability.

Excited to share that I’ve officially received my ChromaChecker Corporation Basic Certification! Three years ago, I was asked to help support our production team during our first G7 certification after we switched to all HP Latex presses. I had no idea how much that moment would shape the way I think about printing. Since then, color management and quality control have become a huge part of my day-to-day. We’ve come a long way—from manually matching swatches one color at a time to dialing in entire libraries of brand colors in less time than it used to take to match just one. Big thanks to everyone who’s shared their knowledge and helped me grow—and to the team at Adcolor Inc for trusting me to take this on and keep pushing it forward.

  • 🎨 Can one colour library replace them all? Colour management is one of the most fundamental and challenging aspects in printing. In order to achieve comparable and predictable results on different devices, several different colour libraries have been established. Adobe RGB, CMYK, Pantone or HKS, to name but a few. Now, there’s a new player aiming to replace them all: Chromaspot. Designed as a truly universal colour library, Chromaspot sets itself apart with colours that are substrate-independent and uniformly spaced. Do you see any potential in this approach? 🤔

Excellent webinar by David Hunter, owner of ChromaChecker software. Many very interesting things discussed for anyone involved with colour for print - primarily CMYK/process colour printing. Important point - that we absolutely agree with: Print to international standards - not local standards. This will enable you to adjust all your printing presses and printers to the same target - instead of trying to squeese the most out of each press. International standards is what bigger companies ask for and printing to those standards is simple with tools, - see our special offer for instance that enables printers in all categories to create their own icc profiles for all their printers and printing presses, enabling printing to international standards such as Fogra or G7: https://lnkd.in/eDNttVec Here is David. Listen to this and consider to get his brilliant CromeChecker software that tracks your printed colours and helps you keep them in check: https://lnkd.in/efaNpKx2 David Hunter #graphicdesign #printing

  • 🎯 2nd Tuesday Webinar Series: Top Three Print Problems — Part 1 of 3 🖨️ A recent survey revealed the top three color issues printers are struggling with: 1️⃣ Not matching jobs on the same printer between jobs 2️⃣ Not matching spot colors close enough 3️⃣ Inconsistencies between different printers In the upcoming next second Tuesday seminar, we will address the 1. Not matching jobs on the same printer between jobs. (We will discuss points 2 and 3 in subsequent webinars)   We will delve into the reasons behind inconsistencies in printing devices, both digital and conventional, across different jobs. We will provide comprehensive terminology and definitions to assist management in addressing this issue effectively. Additionally, we will outline procedures for data upload, enabling the platform to analyze the variation in your current printers. This initiative will offer free insights into the precision and accuracy of your printers on a daily and weekly basis.   When should you re-profile, and on opposite side: When is your G7 Curve no longer working?   Hope that you will join us. 📅 Tuesday, April 8, 2025 🕛 12:00 PM ET | 1 hour 💻 Live + Free to attend 👉 Register now: https://lnkd.in/gCfb8Rhb 📌 Save your seat — and stay tuned for Part 2 & 3 in the coming months!

Wrapping up a challenging week, to say the least. Just when I thought I’d seen it all, I wind up at Procter & Gamble’s headquarters design unit, working through proofing simulations for P&G brand colors—ultimately printed by flexo for baby care products—using Roland LEF UV 300’s to print on woven and film substrates. Our final solution was a multi-transform process using ChromaChecker Corporation: converting spot color LAB definitions through a virtual press ICC profile (with LAB PCS), followed by another virtual transform to the Roland DGA profiles to obtain CMYK device values—used as named color replacements in Caldera. Solutions provided by Nazdar SourceOne.

  • Second Tuesday Webinar: 🎨 Why Delta E isn’t Always Reliable for Color Accuracy 🎨 Think Delta E (∆E) is the gold standard for color accuracy? Think again! 👀 The same Delta E value doesn’t always mean the same visual difference, even for identical colors. This can cause: 🚨 False Pass: A customer receives a product that looks wrong, even though the Delta E is within tolerance. 💸 False Fail: A printer rejects a job that actually meets expectations, wasting time and money. 🔍 Join us for a game-changing session where we’ll demonstrate: ✅ How to measure any color with confidence ✅ How ChromaChecker Variator PDF reveals the full range of Delta E discrepancies ✅ How ChromaChecker Snowflake PDF helps set tolerances that match visual expectations 📅 Save the Date: February 11, 2025 🕛 12:00 ET ⏳ 1-hour session 👉 Secure your spot now! https://lnkd.in/gCfb8Rhb Let’s ensure color accuracy that truly meets expectations! #ColorManagement #DeltaE #PrintQuality #ChromaChecker #E-Factor #2ndTuesday
