Last week I was doing some research of wedding shows in the area. I came across one at TWA Hotel in JFK airport. Looked cool.. They had an opening so I took the opportunity. I got in early to set up the Christopher Schafer Clothier NYC table so I could take a stroll around the TWA terminal before the show began. They did a great job of transporting you to 1962. The attention to detail was unparalleled, the style was classic and the colors vivid. I’ve always liked how literal mid century modern style is. Everything is purposeful, stylish, and clean. The history behind its construction was fascinating. The wedding show was great! Roughly 350 prospective brides/grooms were in attendance. This was my first show here in NYC, I met alot of interesting people and I think it was the right room to be in. Weddings are a large part of the work I do, It’s fun and it allows for tons of creativity.

Hi! My name is Emily and I am thrilled to join the CSC team. I recently graduated from Stevenson University with a B.S. in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. I’m a skilled seamstress with a love for pattern making, tailoring, and textile science. I am passionate about helping people feel their best by looking their best and am very excited to start this new chapter.

Happy New Year! It’s a great time to start thinking about your wardrobe and how you want to show up in 2025. Whether it’s a new suit, sports coat, tuxedo, and/or shirts, we have you covered. As part of the renovation at 2112 Aliceanna Street we have added lots of cool suits, jackets, and overcoats that are sized 34-50 chest and ready to wear. and priced for less. Custom clothing is our main focus but it’s good to have clothes that are ready to go for those that don’t have the time to wait. We also carry lots of accessories to freshen up your wardrobe such as ties, pocket squares, ascots, socks, and Floris cologne for a new scent. We are also able to alter your existing clothing if you have gained or lost weight since we saw you last. Please reach out to us and let’s get the ball rolling with some new clothes for the new year! Good, better, best is how we describe the new layout at Christopher Schafer in Baltimore! Thanks to our friends at Pro-Cor for doing the beautiful construction work on the building to make it so functional for us. The first floor now has a rack system that houses over 200 garments that are sized from a 34-50 chest. We have shirts, suits, tuxedos, and jackets that are one-of-a-kind, ready to wear and they are priced less than full custom garments. The second floor is where we store our fabrics for custom suits, tuxedos, and jackets. We currently have plenty of Dormeuil, Scabal, and Kiton fabrics on hand. The idea is that you pick your fabrics and then go to the third floor to design your custom clothing from scratch. Each floor has a fitting room and is now ready to go.We are very excited about the new layout, new fabrics, and new garments at the shop at 2112 Aliceanna Street in Baltimore!
