Last week, I had the privilege to share insights on quantum computing, quantum AI, and its applications with some of the most talented writers, journalists, editors, and business leaders in the print version of Fast Company México. It was a huge moment for me because it was the first time I had my name as a writer in print. It's incredible to hold something in my hands that I had been working on the drafts through the holidays of 2024 and placing the final touches on it during the first week of January 2025. At the same time, I included a small snippet about how I got into quantum physics in the first place. My dad, who to this day is always reading about quantum physics, quantum gravity, and mathematics, is the person who first piqued my interest over 30 years ago. It's also a topic my dad would talk about with my mom while they were dating; clearly, his strategy worked for half a century of marriage.
