Today we celebrate Gaby Aguirre. For the past year she has been instrumental to our production team, she is a fantastic person of good character whom we all appreciate and love to have in our team. It is very rewarding to see someone move up so fast in such a demanding profession, she is a true warrior with a heart of gold, always on time, always on point, someone who faces adversity and serious problems with a smile and good attitude, Gaby has been a great example to all of us, and we can’t wait to see her realize her dreams and have a very successful career. We also highly appreciate her marketing and creative skills which have help our clients tremendously and her dedication to excellence and hard work which have been a tremendous blessing. Another year working for our great clients from Epic Productions at Design Miami 2024, we had a great time from pre production to end of show, we are always thankful for the opportunity to make them look like a million bucks. Our team has over 22 years of hands on experience doing projection mapping but we never stop learning new ways of planning and executing projects. We are so blessed to be able to work with amazing creative people who strive to create new ways and processes to build immersive experiences using new techniques and methods which push our technical team to think outside of the box and thoroughly plan and collaborate. This unique project has been very demanding but also very rewarding, the wonderful team from Volvox Labs in NYC started the modeling process in a virtual environment creating the custom shaped projected surface in 3D, then mapping it with digital content still inside the 3D environment and helping us simulate the projector’s placement and optics, to later have a large scale robot 3D printing system build the final asset. It was fantastic to see all the math, calculations, Chroma color studies and simulations become a reality with insanely accurate results, our team effort was a total success, and we all learned from the process and had fun doing it. The end clients were super happy, the experience came out very cool and we made lots of new friends. “We like big walls and I cannot lie”. It’s always fun to drive millions of pixels with some old time friends, with a cool unique design by the Encore Production Team and some top notch high end toys. We did lots of engineering in pre-production, bench tests and some R&D, we’re using 6-4K outputs at 60p with no drifts or issues from two servers, and it’s all looking and sounding great.
