SA Life Academy’s mission is to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live full, active lives. Their students truly embody kindness in action through their community-based day program, focusing on personal growth, life skills, and making a positive impact. This blanket drive is a beautiful reflection of their generosity and care for others. We’re so inspired by their selflessness and honored to partner with such an amazing group. On Saturday, SA Hope Center celebrated an inspiring evening of hope and achievement at our Milestones of Hope Ceremony! ?? We are so proud of the 54 participants who reached life-changing milestones through our Financial Literacy, Parenting, Career, and Adult Education programs. Whether completing one program or multiple, each participant displayed remarkable dedication and resilience. A huge thanks to H-E-B for donating $100 gift cards to celebrate and support our graduates’ next steps and to Northside Church of Christ for providing light refreshments and creating a warm, welcoming space for our graduates and their families. Special thanks to Councilman Stacey Adams, Place 5 in Converse and Northside Church of Christ Sunday school teacher, for his powerful message on perseverance and to our incredible case managers for guiding every step of our graduates’ journey. Every milestone tells a story of hope and determination for a brighter future. To our graduates, congratulations on your incredible accomplishments! Big thanks to Esteban at Philos Creations Cafe Y Mas for fueling our golfers today! The coffee was the perfect pick-me-up, and those pastries? Absolutely rave-worthy! Our golfers couldn't stop talking about both! We’re so grateful for this gem of a Westside business for adding such amazing flavor to today's tournament! ??

SA Hope Center and CommuniCare recently teamed up to bring essential women’s health services to SAHC clients through Communicare’s Women’s Health Mobile Unit. This special partnership provided quality care tailored to each woman's unique needs, removing barriers to access. Together, we are grateful to provide this vital service and prioritize women's health in our community! ??

We are so grateful to CLEAR Property Management for filling our boutique with a carload of clothing this week! ?? Their generosity will go a long way in restoring hope and dignity for those we serve. Donations of new and gently used clothing help families find items they need for job interviews, school, and daily life. ????
