In celebration of World Kindness Day, we are inspired by the compassion and resilience shown by Mark Alt, CLCS, a Risk Consultant on the CG business team and his young friend Eloise. Recently, Mark joined Smile Network International and Breakaway Academy to support a meaningful initiative close to his heart. Together, they led a powerful discussion with the students, addressing the importance of empathy, respect, and understanding differences. Last week, I had an amazing opportunity with Smile Network International and Breakaway Academy. The fourth-grade class chose to honor their classmate Eloise by selecting Smile Network as the charity they’ll be supporting this year. Eloise and I have a lot in common—we both love hockey, have a passion for learning, and were both born with a cleft lip and palate. Eloise gave an inspiring presentation, and afterward, I had the chance to speak with the class. I shared the incredible work Smile Network does, talked about the challenges that come with a cleft, and shared some of the bullying experiences I faced throughout my childhood and career. The class was incredibly engaged, and we had a meaningful discussion about the bullying they witness and ways we can all be more understanding and respectful of each other’s differences. Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible!

We were honored to take part in the Chubb Charity Challenge this year—a fantastic opportunity to "Golf for Good." This remarkable event has made a lasting impact on countless charities and organizations. In 2024 alone, Chubb collectively raised over $1.25 million, benefiting hundreds of local charities. Since its launch in 2000, the Challenge has contributed nearly $21 million to more than 7,000 worthy causes. #golfforgood #givingback #chubbcharitychallenge #ESOPCG
The 24th annual Chubb Charity Challenge golf tournament was held this week in Frisco, TX. This year's tournament raised over $1 million for local charities throughout the U.S. and Canada and over $21 million since the tournament's inception in 2000. The event was attended by more than 50 agent and broker teams. I had the privilege of hosting the team from Christensen Group Insurance. We played for the local charity Summit Academy OIC, to help individuals become contributing citizens in their community. Charlie Christensen won the closest to the pin competition to add more dollars to help Summit Academy OIC pursue their local community mission. #CCC2024
