Our membership team, Melissa Nay, CTA and Cindy Holmes, are excited to represent Choose Lansing during today's Rosie The Riveter Day celebration at the Capital Region International Airport! The event, hosted by the Capital Area Manufacturing Council, celebrates the legacy of the 200,000 Michigan women who stepped into a traditionally male-dominated workforce during WWII and whose influence persists today in our state's manufacturing and STEM industries. Michigan Rosie the Riveter Day includes family activities, an array of speakers, legacy awards, and many, many attendees dressed like Rosie! Are you attending? Drop a comment with a picture of your Rosie get-up!
