Honored to have attended the 2025 DuSable Heritage Association Gala alongside DuSable Heritage Association President Nicolas Paul, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul, Choose Chicago Interim CEO Richard Gamble and many other esteemed guests. The event marked the 25th anniversary of the association and celebrated the legacy of Jean Baptiste DuSable, the founder of the City of Chicago. A heartfelt thank you to my friend Nicolas Paul and the entire leadership team of the DuSable Heritage Association for their unwavering commitment to preserving the impactful legacy of Jean Baptiste DuSable. Today, our Interim President & CEO Richard Gamble and Chicago Sports Commission Executive Director Kara Bachman joined City of Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, Chicago Park District CEO Rosa Escareno, and representatives of New Zealand Rugby and Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) to announce "The Rematch: Ireland vs All Blacks" at Soldier Field this fall. On November 1, 2025, the New Zealand All Blacks and Ireland will face off in a rematch of their historic 2016 meeting in Chicago when Ireland triumphed over New Zealand for the first time in 111 years.
