How is it we as a nation, can find the expertise, resources, and billions to explore inner and outer space, research and cure rare diseases, and create and fund one of the finest militaries in the world. . .yet we can't seem to find the expertise, resources, and billions to end poverty and homelessness in America? Really? Why? Might it be the fact that we treat poverty and homelessness in America as a charity, and not a business? Or is it because we enable our poverty stricken and homeless citizens that is changing situational poverty and homelessness in America into generational poverty and homelessness. Choose Charities believes it most likely is a combination of both. Exploring inner and outer space, researching and curing rare diseases, and creating the finest military in the world creates business commerce that is good for all entities involved. While enabling our poverty stricken and homeless citizens as we do over and over again is just insanity, especially when we are expecting different results. A couple of years ago, Choose Charities created a national consensus on the issue of poverty and homelessness in America whereby thousands and thousands of people from all walks of our society seemed to agree with us that it's time to change the insanity. 37.9 million Americans in our country are either poverty stricken or homeless, and a generational circumstance is beginning to create a multiple affect whereby the numbers are increasing dramatically, becoming unmanageable. Most things we've tried haven't been successful, and have pretty much enabled our poverty stricken and homeless Americans to remain so . . .which unfortunately has turned incidental poverty and homelessness into generational poverty and homelessness. Those of you who follow Choose Charities are aware of the fact that there're currently 37.9 million poverty stricken and homeless Americans. 11 million are helpless children, and 1.5 million are our beloved veterans. . .and the numbers aren't getting better they're getting worse! We need to stop enabling America's most vulnerable citizens by providing them with food, clothing, and housing, and start "teaching" them how to provide these life necessities for themselves, so they and their families can "eat for a lifetime." We've tried everything else. . .don't you think it's time to do the right thing? When we started Choose Charities a couple of years ago, our main goal was to create a consensus on this devastating issue, and reinforce the fact that what we are doing to stem the tied of this medical and economical onslaught is not working. It pains us to bring it to light because this truth will ultimately prevail, but believe it or not . . .many of the resources are right in front of us. Case in point. Currently there're approximately 24.5 million millionaires in the United States today. If each one of our millionaires donated just $100.00 per month, per year that'd be $29.4 billion dollars raised every year . . .and poverty and homelessness in America would be on its way of becoming a thing of the past. Please understand, this is not a knock against millionaires. Most are hard working, creative entrepreneurs that because of their success have helped make the United States one of the greatest countries in the world. Unfortunately given what's going on in our nation, this quote seems to describe that it's exactly where we are today! With the assistance of a questionably adjusted, financially profound, sick biased media. Who's only intent many times seems to be pouring psychobabble on society's politically raging inferno. . .just to sell soap. America, we need to wake up, join together and ask: "What the hell is going on?" First, our sincerest condolences and prayers to the family of the gentlemen who was killed in the assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump. Blessings to them, and we are grateful that the former president wasn't seriously hurt, and is able to continue as the republican candidate. Hopefully, all who were injured have a speedy recovery, too. They say, the first step of solving any problem is you have to first realize you have one. America, we are better then this. We need to stand strong, and come together as one nation.
