Chinese School of Rochester (CSR) was established in 1995. It is a volunteer based nonprofit organization, which promotes Chinese language, culture and history as well as community outreach. The school offers regular Chinese classes including: - Preschool class - Kindergarten to 9th grade classes - Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) classes for Youth - Chinese as a Second Language (CSL) classes for Adult - Credit classes for high school students CSR also offers elective classes including Chinese painting & calligraphy, Paper cutting, Math, Chinese dance, Chinese martial art, Taichi, Erhu, Bamboo flute, Zither, etc.
