"Higher demand for banquets and restaurant service has a direct impact on the neighborhood. 'It’s its own little ecosystem,' said Rosa Chen of the Chinatown Community Development Center." "Chinatown’s grocery stores generally see half of their revenue from restaurants, for instance, and banquets often feature decorative items such as flowers, printed menus and performers from the neighborhood as well."
