Assumption: Companies with the most funding are the most likely to convert. Reality: It’s… complicated. Our annual Benchmark Conversion Rate Report includes data from nearly 4 million form fills across industries and shows benchmarks for: ??? Qualified Form Fill Rate ??? Qualified Booked Meeting Rate ??? Disqualification Rate ? ??? Meeting Abandonment Rate It also breaks down the data in lots of interesting ways: by industry, by month, even by funding round. That way, you can see exactly how your company’s conversion rate stacks up against the rest. (You know where to snag it...)

ALINA APPRECIATION TIME! Meet Alina Vandenberghe ???. She's our Co-Founder & Co-CEO, and we couldn't be prouder of that fact. If you didn't already know about her, you probably heard some buzz over the weekend. Someone called her out for talking about diversity on LinkedIn. And the wave of support she received made us feel so honored and so connected to our community. Here are two of the many reasons we love her: 1. She speaks up about what she believes in. 2. She's open to other perspectives. She accepted the feedback with grace and curiosity. She's truly a class act. Thank you to the hundreds of people who had our fearless founder's back this weekend! We see you, and we love you!

Making qualified leads fill out a form and wait hours or days to hear back is the fastest way to lose winnable deals. Well, imagine if you could talk to leads right away—as soon as they fill out a form on your website. That's what's possible with Concierge Live, our instant sales engagement tool. It automatically qualifies inbound leads, routes them to the correct sales rep, and starts a live phone call in real time. No more chasing down buyers that are impossible to reach. You can speak with them the moment they're ready to buy.

You already know that we prefer events to be less B2Basic and more B2Baller. If you've seen pictures from ChiliPalooza, you can see we prefer intimate settings where you make genuine connections. That's why we're proud to sponsor RevFest from Go Nimbly. It's happening on June 10th at House of Yes in Brooklyn (impeccable vibes). No fluff. No pitches. No generic advice. Just real revenue pros with real strategies to share. There will be soooooo many amazing speakers, including Travis Henry from Snowflake, Craig Rosenberg from Scale Venture Partners, Lauren Silvers, Ph.D. from Ironclad, and Keith Jones ????♂? from OpenAI. There will even be entertainment, including Adam Conover from Adam Ruins Everything. Apply to attend: https://lnkd.in/edz6niTH

Soooooooo many events this month. LeadIQ Summit this week. Adobe Summit next week. ChiliPalooza last week ??♀? Not to mention Spryng by Wynter, Forrester B2B Summit, and St. Louis Go-To-Market Masters all happening this month. ^ And those are just the events our team is attending ???? With all that $$$ going into events, how do you make sure you're getting a return on your investment? The B2Basics of buying a booth and scanning badges won't do it. Here's what we recommend trying at your next event instead ??

Don't gamble with your inbound leads. Book a demo with Chili Piper at Adobe Summit to increase your conversions. As a bonus, you'll get a scratch-off ticket that could earn you one of many fabulous prizes: Airpods, Airtags, and more. ^ Statistically, this is as close to a sure thing as you'll see in Vegas... just sayin'. If you run into Colin Kosko (the guy in the Chili Piper shirt), book a demo with him for a chance to win. P.S. We're also hosting an exclusive dinner with Nomad on Monday night. Let us know if you'd like to go.

"The MQLs are $#*^." ^ That's the most common sentiment among sales teams. So why is anyone still using them? MQLs make it easy to game the system and bolster numbers. That's why we don't focus on MQLs here at Chili Piper. Instead, we use Qualified Held Meetings as our North Star metric. QHMs are far more likely to predict revenue than MQLs. They also help Marketing and Sales stay aligned to have a bigger impact on the business. Here's how we define QHMs: ??????????????????: To be considered qualified, the lead must meet specific criteria set by the Sales AND Marketing teams together. The criteria will be different for different organizations, but the bottom line is that quality (shared definition) matters more than quantity. ?????????? ??????????????????????: The presence of an AE is crucial because it signals a stage in the sales process where discussions are more in-depth and tailored to the prospect's specific needs. ???????? ??????????????: The meeting must actually take place, indicating active interest – it's not enough for the meeting to be scheduled. This way, no leads slip through the cracks, and everyone is highly motivated to follow up with no-shows. Focusing on QHMs works if you: ?? Have clearly defined and documented stages and entry/exit criteria ?? Have clearly defined and documented Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and enforce them (i.e., you hold everyone accountable) ?? Make QHMs one of Marketing’s top 3 KPIs (and ideally, that’s how they’re compensated) What do you think? Would you try tracking QHMs instead of MQLs?

Setting up basic lead distribution rules shouldn't take an entire month. But that's what Adam Pelley from Proposify experienced when he tried to set up a simple use case with LeanData. He wanted to set up the following (extremely simple) routing: - If there’s an owner, route to owner - If there’s no owner and below a certain size, route to a Business Development Rep (BDR) - If there’s no owner and above a certain size, route to an Account Executive And it took a month of back-and-forth meetings to make it happen. When he switched to Chili Piper, it took just one meeting to set everything up. One. “If your business model is based on people booking demos with your company, Chili Piper is the best way I’ve seen for making that process work smoothly for both sides," he says.
