Children's Nebraska recently welcomed guests from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services for a tour of the Behavioral Health & Wellness Center at Children's Nebraska, currently under construction in partnership with the Mental Health Innovation Foundation. When it opens in early 2026, the world-class facility will offer an innovative model of care for youth in crisis, strengthening pediatric mental healthcare statewide and improving the lives of countless children and families. Our thanks to DHHS leaders Dr. Steve Corsi, chief executive officer; Dr. Carisa Schweitzer Masek, chief of staff; Dr. Alyssa Bish, director, Children & Family Services, and Dr. Tom Janousek, director, Behavioral Health.
