Children's Melanoma Prevention Foundation (CMPF) is a non-profit educational foundation established in 2003, to educate children and the people who care for them about sun protection and skin cancer prevention and to advocate for laws that protect children from developing skin cancer. Children's Melanoma Prevention Foundation's mission is to prevent skin cancer one child at a time through education and advocacy. By maintaining and developing a strong and diverse leadership, CMPF will be able to raise the appropriate funding to further the organization's mission; thereby protecting children from the most common cancer in our society and reducing morbidity and mortality from skin cancer. CMPF will increase its impact through its strategic partnerships, thereby leveraging its financial resources more efficiently.
