Limited registration is still open for Foundational Trainings for child care providers. If you are a child care teacher in Outagamie, Calumet, or Waupaca counties, these classes are available for FREE with current grant opportunities. Registration for the 4 currently running online, self-paced foundational courses closes November 22nd. This is the last opportunity for these classes to be offered in the self-paced format. Self-paced means a participant will complete ALL of the material at their own pace by the assigned end date. All Foundational Trainings will move to a blended live virtual/online format beginning in January 2025. Child Care Counts is set to end in June 2025 when the federal pandemic-relief funds propping it up will run out. Many in the early learning industry are calling for Wisconsin to invest state dollars to continue the program, or a program like it.
