Black History Month is a time to recognize, honor, and celebrate the contributions of Black leaders, educators, artists, and advocates. In early childhood education, it’s especially important to uplift Black voices, share diverse stories, and provide young learners with an inclusive understanding of history and culture. This month, we encourage families and child care providers to explore meaningful ways to highlight Black excellence, support Black-owned businesses, and integrate diverse perspectives into everyday learning.
