??Meet Theresa Cole, our Director of Operations! Last Friday marked Theresa’s three-year anniversary at Denver CASA. In her role, she is the cornerstone that keeps our team thriving. She is an expert-problem solver in all things general operations, human resources, and life advice. In her free time, Theresa enjoys spending time with her family, telling stories, enjoying time outdoors, and brunching on the weekends. Theresa’s Favorite quote: “Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud – Maya Angelou.”

Nyomi Davis is Denver CASA’s February Volunteer of the Month! Nyomi has been on her case for almost a year and a half, supporting a 16-year-old girl in working toward permanency and navigating the transitions that come with being a teenager in foster care.? As both a CASA and an Older Youth Program Mentor, she has a strong understanding of community resources and skillfully leverages them to connect her youth with meaningful support. Having aged out of the foster system herself, Nyomi was inspired to become a CASA after turning 21. She’s currently pursuing her law degree at CU Boulder Law School, and enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and reading.
