Over the years, we've expanded beyond the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program to offer a range of holistic support services for children and youth, including: ??Advocacy – Supporting youth in foster care and juvenile justice through trained volunteers ??Tutor Program – Providing trauma-informed educational support ??Therapy Project California – Offering pro bono teletherapy to foster youth ??Reproductive Health Program – Ensuring access to essential healthcare and education. Yesterday, our program and Alameda County CASA took part in?California CASA’s Day at the Capitol in Sacramento, joining CASA staff, volunteers, board members, and former foster youth from across the state. Together, we met with legislators to discuss CASA’s life-changing impact in providing stability, consistency, and support to children and youth in foster care. A sincere thank you to Senator Jesse Arreguin, Assemblymember Mia Bonta, and their teams for taking the time to meet with us. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization, and we are grateful for them every day. From advocates and tutors to team leaders, case consultants, and special projects volunteers, each plays a vital role in supporting children in foster care and making a lasting impact in their lives.
