Today, I spoke with our leaders in the Civil Engineer Corps, a community of engineers, architects and acquisition professionals who are focused on my Project 33 target of restoring the critical infrastructure that supports America’s Warfighting Navy all over the world. Shore readiness is essential for getting more players on the field to fight and win, and this community sustains our warriors through our global network of bases, dry docks, and ports to ensure we have capabilities ready to match any threat.

It was great to speak with the warfighters who are on the front lines of US Navy #training on our evolving operational security environment. These experts are exploring new ways to confront the challenges posed by the changing character of warfare.
