Latinos in Technical Careers (LTC) is a professional development non-profit organization, and we proudly serve as the California State University, Chico SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) chapter. Our mission aligns closely with SHPE’s national mission, which is "to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development."
At LTC, we are dedicated to fostering a supportive community for Latino students pursuing careers in STEM fields. We provide members with opportunities for growth through networking events, workshops, mentorship programs, and collaboration with industry professionals. Our goal is to equip students with the skills and resources they need to succeed in technical careers, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
By partnering with industry leaders and leveraging a strong professional network, we aim to create pathways to success for underrepresented students, ensuring that they are prepared to become the next generation of innovators and leaders in STEM.
