Let 'em Cook is Wilmington's premiere recurring comedy show. We hold monthly shows at Theatre N's 200-seat theater in the historic Nemours Building. Shows are generally the first Friday of every month at 7:30pm with a pre-show party across the street at DECO from 5-7pm. Audiences are treated to a comedy double feature. First is the "Comedy Main Course", where we bring the area's funniest acts: standup, improv, story telling, comic artists, you name it. If it makes you laugh, we're bringing them to the big stage in Wilmington. That is followed by the Let 'em Cook Standup Competition, an open, game-show style competition where the crowd helps crown Wilmington's Comic of the Month. Our mission is to promote and provide opportunities to the local comedy community while providing downtown Wilmington with top-tier entertainment as a night cap to the monthly Art Loop. Our show schedule for Season 2 is: * September 8th (second Friday special) - Standup Featuring Peggy O'Leary and Steve Young *October 7th (Saturday special) - Improv and Story Telling Featuring Sara Ray and Fearless Improv November 3rd: Spin Da Friggin' Wheel A night of chaos and laughs, featuring Brandon Gorin and John Deary December 1st: Standup Featuring Jamie Wolf Stay tuned for details on our 2024 shows.

There's no better way to close out the season than with Keith Djk Purnell! Keith is the winner of Howard Stern’s “Kill or Be Killed” comedy competition. He's made appearances on Last Comic Standing and Showtime at the Apollo and opened for Jim Norton, Dom Irrera, Artie Lang, Rich Vos and Joe Torry. Keith is a ball of energy and super engaging, and I can't wait for him to bring the laughs to Theatre N.
