“Anything to carry on Dad's legacy. That’s why I’m doing this.” For Laura Hasler, the decision to leave a 12-year nursing career to become a Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator was a return to her roots. Her father, Russ Johnson, served as an Owner-Operator for more than 38 years. She credits her leadership philosophy to values instilled from her at a young age – being operationally present, working alongside her team and fostering a culture of care.

Today would have been Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy’s 104th birthday. His legacy continues to inspire local Owner-Operators and Team Members throughout Chick-fil-A Restaurants – especially at the Hapeville Dwarf House.? ? Chick-fil-A Restaurants are celebrating Sunshine Days, doing their part to spread joy by adding more sunshine everywhere they can. Chick-fil-A Restaurants across the country find their own creative ways to activate and engage Guests during Sunshine Days. Like Team Member Deb Heinrich in Florence, Kentucky, who distributes handwritten notes of encouragement to Guests and third-party delivery drivers.
