Last weekend, our team had the honor of attending the NUDM Annual Alumni Gala at the Potocsnak Family Atrium. It was an inspiring evening filled with impactful conversations about our mission to support Chicago students experiencing homelessness and the vital work of the Evanston Community Foundation. In 2024, Chicago HOPES for Kids expanded our bilingual programs to meet the needs of children experiencing homelessness, including a growing number of Spanish-speaking refugees and asylum seekers. With six bilingual site coordinators now serving multiple locations, we’re ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and empowered—no matter the language they speak. You can make a difference! ?? Shoutout to our amazing site coordinators for guiding our middle schoolers through some serious learning fun. ???? From tackling long division with decimals to calculating parasite percentages in mummies??, our students embraced the challenge! The grand finale?
