Last Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Amanda Kunash, chief nursing officer for Ascension Alexian Brothers, and Morgan Cottrell MBA, BSN, CCRN-K, the hospital’s director of clinical operations, were recognized by their healthcare peers in the Chicago Health Executives Forum (CHEF). Presented at the group’s annual meeting, Amanda received a 2025 Healthcare Leadership Award, which honors mid-career professionals with a?sustained commitment to the local community which has fostered advancement of the field of healthcare management.?Morgan was honored with a 2025 Young Healthcare Executive Award, given to emerging leaders under 40 years of age who have made a meaningful impact on the healthcare community. Amanda and Morgan exemplify leadership within Ascension Illinois, as well as dedication to advancing healthcare management.
