As of Sunday, the spring running season in Chicago has officially begun! The 44th running of the Bank of America #ShamrockShuffle was a huge success, with more than 26,500 participants crossed the finish line on Columbus Drive on a cloudy, chilly morning. Thank you to everyone who came into town to support the event, and congratulations to all our participants! Next up: The Bank of America Chicago 13.1.

Many thanks to the course flyering volunteers who joined us early in the morning on Sunday to help ensure the Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle 8K Run course is safe, clear and ready to go on race day! We were excited to host the annual FBI Sports/Special Events Security Summit in our building today to bring together other Chicago events, venues and agency partners to collaborate on creating safe experiences. We look forward to another great year of events in the best event city!

The Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle depends on each volunteer to provide the best possible experience for race participants. It’s officially Bank of America #ShamrockShuffle month! Our team spent last week in the warehouse organizing the swag and mailing bibs to participants. Just 20 days until race day!
