Congratulations to 2024-2025 CCPG Scholar Aliya K Prescott! Aliya serves as the Director of Individual Giving for Nourishing Hope, a nonprofit providing the equivalent of 4.5 million meals and thousands of mental wellness and social services each year. She holds a master's degree in social work from the University of Illinois and has worked in volunteer engagement, fundraising, and event management. A fun fact about Aliya is that she has three dogs and can be found exploring the city with them. It's National Estate Planning Awareness Week! Did you know that most U.S. adults don't have a valid will in place? Everyone needs an estate plan, regardless of how many assets you have or what tax bracket you're in. This national week of awareness was created in 2008 to highlight the importance of protecting your loved ones and leaving the legacy you desire. As an attorney, financial advisor, charitable gift planner, or other allied professional, what are you and your organization doing to advocate for the power of estate planning? We would love to hear from you! #EstatePlanning #NationalEstatePlanningAwarenessWeek #NEPAW2024
