We are proud to announce a new partnership with Coerver? Coaching @coerverillinois the global leader in skill-based soccer training, to further elevate player development and coaching education across all levels of the club. This collaboration brings the proven Coerver? Method to every stage of the CITY player pathway — from our competitive teams to our grassroots programs. Coaches throughout the club will receive direct support, curriculum integration, and on-field education rooted in Coerver’s world-renowned player development philosophy. This initiative not only strengthens CITY’s coaching standards, but also ensures a more consistent and impactful learning experience for every player. As part of the partnership, CITY will implement the Coerver? methodology within our recreational program at Haas Park Soccer League, aligning the technical foundation of our youngest players with the training received at the competitive levels. This creates a seamless and unified development model across the entire club. Additionally, players and families will have exclusive access to Coerver’s at-home training video library, empowering players to sharpen their skills outside of practice and continue developing year-round. “Our mission has always been to create a complete, player-centered pathway,” said Nick Mulvaney, Founder and CEO of Chicago City SC. “Partnering with Coerver? strengthens that mission — giving our coaches the tools to teach more effectively and our players the technical foundation to thrive at every level.” Our Coaches completed the Youth Diploma 1 this past weekend in preparation for the Spring season. ELEVATING OUR GAME!!!! Through our strong professional network with @uslleagueone club @forwardmadisonfc, we have been fortunate to be able to create a unique opportunity for our USL players this summer. Forward Madison will be hosting a USLW and USL2 game in their iconic stadium in June. We plan to have supporter buses going up from Chicago, so mark your calendars!!!! ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT SQUAD!!!! We launched our ADS in December as a way to bring our top talent together from 2011’s through 2006’s bi-weekly. We believe this is key to enhance our players development & help push them out of their comfort zone. We have added in our HS Girls with the boys weekly and we will continue to develop this concept throughout the club. Part of this success led to Ibrahim (2010’s) trying out at the Fire Academy this past week for 4 days. Coach Omer is leading up this initiative along with Academy Director Conor Walsh and we look forward to competing against local amateur men’s/women’s teams. This then provides the unique opportunity to prepare our players for USL Pre Pro in the summer.
