Chi Phi was founded on the basis of Truth, Honor, and Personal Integrity. These are timeless values, which guide the fundamental purposes of the fraternity. As with all dynamic organizations, there is a need to maintain relevancy in the lives of our members and society in general. To that end, Chi Phi has renewed its commitment to the founding values expressed in our ritual: Truth, Honor, and Personal Integrity. At the same time, Chi Phi has begun to explore a modern set of evolving core values, which can be used to guide our daily activities and functions. These core values offer contemporary definitions of the values that drive Chi Phi.

This Summer, I received the Carl J. Gladfelter Leadership Award through the Chi Phi Fraternity! It is given to one brother in the nation who exemplifies leadership and service within his chapter and campus. I am grateful to have received this award in 2024, which happens to be the bicentennial of both Chi Phi and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Joining Chi Phi was one of my greatest decisions because I gained lifelong friends and professional skills which will help me as an engineer. Special thanks to my brothers Ryan Snell, Soul Barry, Shankar Veludandi, and Noah Prisament, and my research advisor Johnson Samuel for nominating me for this award!
I am excited to announce that I have been named to the Chi Phi Fraternity Circle of Scholars. This scholarship program was created in early 2023 with the hope to award high achieving brothers throughout the fraternity nationwide.? It recognizes those who have achieved remarkable academic success, made a lasting impact within their chapter, and demonstrated exceptional leadership in their career aspirations and on campus. I am immensely grateful to be a member of the first class of this prestigious group, and hope to use this scholarship to continue to grow as a leader and student in my last semester at Florida State University. I want to thank Adam Vinson, Nadia Jennings, Ethan Seldess, and Gisela Alvizures for their support throughout the application process. I would also like to thank those that I have worked with in my fraternity who allowed me to grow as a leader through our shared experiences. Finally, I want to thank the Chi Phi Fraternity Educational Trust for their continued support that they have provided me as I continue to work towards my career and academic goals.
