We wanted to share an update on one of our buildings on our extended campus that was impacted by the weather last Sunday. Two of our outpatient services within this building have been impacted due to flood damage, AIM Therapies and the Sleep Center. For Sleep Center patients, repairs are scheduled to be completed by next week and full operations will return soon. Sleep study patients can take a home study or be rescheduled after the Sleep Center reopens. For our outpatient therapy patients, AIM is still seeing outpatients by relocating some services to other locations. Our inpatient therapy service line is fully functional. We apologize for any inconvenience and we are grateful for the safety of our employees and the ability to keep our patients safe and healthy.

A Gift of Comfort: New High Chairs Enhance Patient Experience at AIM and AIM Therapies 2 ? Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Mercy Foundation, our AIM and AIM Therapies-2 outpatient waiting rooms are now even more welcoming and accessible! We've received a wonderful gift of five new high chairs, designed to make a real difference in the comfort of our patients. ?? This thoughtful donation was inspired by the experience of a post-surgical knee patient, highlighting the need for seating that better supports individuals with mobility challenges. While particularly beneficial for those recovering from knee surgery, these higher chairs (with a seat height of 24 inches, compared to the standard 18 inches) offer improved comfort and ease of movement for anyone with limited posture or difficulty standing from a low surface due to lower extremity, spine, or other medical conditions. The elevated seat height makes getting in and out of the chair much easier, especially for patients after knee or hip replacements. These new chairs are a welcome addition for many of our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy patients, as well as their guests. The response has been overwhelmingly positive! We had "happy campers" enjoying the chairs from day one, and we continue to hear wonderful feedback daily at both of our busy outpatient clinics. Here are just a few of the comments we've received: "Wow...Thank God for a high chair!!!" "I am going to sit in the new tall chairs. I am still unable to sit in a standard chair." "It's nice they have tall chairs." "I'm tall anyway and have 2 bad knees, it's so nice to go somewhere I can sit comfortably." "A rare find! Ahhh!" And as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words! A huge thank you to the Mercy Foundation team and the anonymous donor for their commitment to enhancing our patient experience and making our clinics even more comfortable and supportive environments! We truly appreciate your generosity. ??
