Robert Bintz and his brother David Bintz (represented by the Wisconsin Innocence Project) were recently exonerated after serving 25 years in prison for a crime they played no role in. The Great North Innocence Project could not have successfully won Robert's freedom without the dedicated support from the pro bono team at Chestnut Cambronne PA. Chris Renz, Wynn Curtiss, Jennifer Crancer, and Jacklyn Heckman fought tirelessly alongside the GNIP legal team to win Robert's freedom. Thank you to this incredible team of attorneys for your partnership! Read more about Robert's story: https://lnkd.in/gfzBGAes #probonoweek

Earlier this week, after a six-day jury trial, Chestnut attorneys Charlie Shafer and Emeric Dwyer, along with Sarah McEllistrem of Collins, Buckley, Sauntry & Haugh, PLLP, won a jury verdict on behalf of a former employee against the United States Postal Service. The 12-person jury found that the former USPS employee was subjected to a racially hostile work environment – and the USPS failed to stop it - when he worked at the Saint Paul Processing & Distribution Center from 2017 to 2022. The jury awarded the employee damages for emotional distress. The trial team also included Justin Engelmann and Chris Jenssen. More on the case can be found here: https://lnkd.in/gKW_i5gE.
