Super Radiator Coils, a family-owned engineering and manufacturing company, announced their expansion in Chesterfield County. The company will invest $22 million to expand and create 160 new jobs. Shamin Hotels, the region’s largest privately owned hotelier, is moving forward with construction of the first of two new properties planned for the Springline at District 60 development in Chesterfield. The firm plans to break ground in mid-2025 on a 12-story Hilton with more than 270 rooms at the large mixed-use development taking shape on Midlothian Turnpike, Shamin CEO Neil Amin said in an interview last week. The hotel is anticipated to cost more than $100 million and is envisioned as a conference and events hub. It is currently planned to have 34,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 12,600-square-foot ballroom. https://lnkd.in/eJEgw8QU

Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you’re part of a team. Dominion Energy leadership visited the LEGO Group’s construction site today in Meadowville Technology Park in Chesterfield County. Once operational, the new $1B 1.7 million square-foot precision production facility will be carbon-neutral and include rooftop and solar panels. It will also expand the LEGO Group’s global manufacturing network which is designed to locate factories close to major markets.
