Chesterfield CASA is pleased to welcome six new child advocates! Patti, Kimberly, Kim, Jeanne, Chelsea, and Mary were officially sworn in on November 19th by the Honorable Tara D. Hatcher, Chief Judge of the Chesterfield and Colonial Heights Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts. We are so grateful for their hard work in training and look forward to working with them on behalf of children in our community.

We were honored to be a part Virginia Department of Social Services CVC Charity Fair this week with their amazing employees! Thanks for a wondering opportunity to raise awareness and to get to know other local nonprofits. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) make a life-changing difference for children in the foster care system. As trusted volunteers, CASAs serve as the voice for a child in court, ensuring their unique needs and best interests are always front and center. They spend time getting to know each child personally, advocating for safe and permanent homes, and providing hope and stability during uncertain times. Every child deserves to feel heard and valued.
