Giving Tuesday is Just One Week Away! On December 3rd, join Chesterfield CASA in transforming the lives of vulnerable children. Every child deserves someone who will stand up for them—in the courtroom and the community. With your help, we can make that happen. Did you know? Just $44 provides a week of advocacy for a child in need. This holiday season, your gift can give a child the voice they deserve. We’re on a mission to raise $5,000! Will you help us get there? Donate now: https://bit.ly/3OnxxTo Let’s make a difference, every child deserves to thrive.

Providing a powerful voice for abused and neglected children
关于我们
Chesterfield CASA - the Court Appointed Special Advocates program - is a nonprofit organization that provides trained volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children who are under the juvenile court's protection. Our main goal is to provide a juvenile judge with objective, accurate information about child victims' circumstances and to monitor the case to ensure children do not "fall through the cracks." The hallmark of CASA's work is the written report submitted to the Court that summarizes the most critical findings from the volunteer’s investigation and experiences with the child. The information provided in the report is given careful consideration by the judge before he/she makes decisions which will affect the child's safety and future development. Once these decisions are made, CASA remains on the case, monitoring the caregivers' compliance with the Court's orders.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) make a life-changing difference for children in the foster care system. As trusted volunteers, CASAs serve as the voice for a child in court, ensuring their unique needs and best interests are always front and center. They spend time getting to know each child personally, advocating for safe and permanent homes, and providing hope and stability during uncertain times. Every child deserves to feel heard and valued. CASAs work to make that a reality. #BeTheDifference #CASAAdvocates #HopeForChildren #FosterCare #virginiacasa #chesterfieldcasa

As the giving season begins, we want to express how thankful we are for Wendy Greene and acac Fitness & Wellness Center in Midlothian to be the recipient of their 30 for $30 campaign held this fall! Their support makes a huge impact in creating a world in which all children have their needs met in a safe, loving, and permanent home.
