I have a new job to tell you about. Chemicals Inc - Bay City TX site is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. ## Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring Hazmat tankers. ## Duties - Oversee the transportation of goods from production to distribution centers - Manage shipping and receiving processes - Utilize SQL for data analysis and reporting - Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers - Plan and optimize transportation routes - - Manage contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PL) - Identify areas for process improvement in logistics operations - Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems for inventory control - Collect and analyze data to track key performance indicators ## Experience / ### Required Skills: - Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and transportation planning - 4-6 years verifiable experience - Experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting - High School Diploma / Some College - DOT rules and regulations - Strong sourcing skills for negotiating with vendors and suppliers - Knowledge of contract management in logistics operations - Familiarity with process improvement methodologies - Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems - Data collection and analysis skills to track logistics performance If you are a proactive problem solver with a passion for optimizing supply chain processes, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Logistic Coordinator.
